The material makes the difference

Aluminium

Aluminium wedges are particularly light and very strong. The material properties also prevent damage to the chainsaw chain when touching the wedge. The use of aluminium means that there is no danger of splintering parts when using steel hammers.

Plastic (felling wedge)

Plastic wedges are suitable for felling, but not for splitting. Our special polyamide composition is particularly break and impact resistant. Our plastic is cold-resistant down to -30° C and is also suitable for frozen wood.

Steel (splitting wedge)

The most stable but also the heaviest version of our wedges. For safety reasons, steel wedges may only be driven in with a hardwood or plastic hammer.
